In 2020, Ananda Yoga Paradise offers Yoga Teacher Training Courses at Tattvaa Yogashala Rishikesh, India with Yogi Kamal Singh, one of the ‘100 Most Inspired Yoga Teachers in India’.

Rishikesh, known as the  ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, is located in Northern India, in the foothills of the Himalayas. Because Hindu sages and saints have visited there since ancient times to meditate in search of higher knowledge, Rishikesh is known as a ‘Pilgrimage Town’ and regarded as one of the Hindu’s holiest places.

We offer a Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC 200 Hour) at Tattvaa Yogashala, the first and oldest Ashtanga yoga school in Rishikesh. Our Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC), accredited by Yoga Alliance, USA (RYS200), and gives Yoga Teachers & Yoga Practitioners specialized knowledge of:

  • Alignment and Hand-on Adjustment

  • Communication Skills for Teachers
  • Yoga Anatomy & Physiology
  • Yoga Sequencing Design
  • Kriya/Shatkarma

Graduates receive our 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certificate (RYT) which enables them to register with Yoga Alliance, USA.

Ashtanga Primary Series Course:

– 100 Hour (RYT 100) April 1st-11th, 2020

– 200 Hour (RYT 200) April 1st-24th, 2020

– 300 Hour (RYT 300) April 1st-30th, 2020

Ashtanga Secondary Series Course:

– 300 Hour (RYT 300) April 1st -30th, 2020

Tuition:

100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course:  $900 USD

200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course:  $1,800 USD

300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course:  $2,700 USD

  • Tuition includes Accommodation (single room), two vegetarian meals (brunch & dinner), and one snack with tea, and course materials: Yoga books, neti-pot, stationery, and school shirt.
  • Tuition includes Thai translation.
  • Tuition does not include air-fare, passport fee, visa fee & airport transfers.
  • Tuition excludes all personal expenses.
  • Students should bring a yoga mat, face towel, towel, drink container & personal items.

 

Daily Schedule:

The TTC Program is 8-12 hours a day. Below is the general day structure.

06:30 – 08:00 — Pranayama/ Meditation / Mantra Chanting

08:30 – 10:15 — Asana Practice Ashtanga Vinyasa Mysore Style or Led Class

10:30 – 12:00 — Breakfast / Brunch / Free Time / Study Time

12:00 – 13:30 — Yoga Principles / Philosophy / Yoga Sutra Lectures

14:00 – 15:00 — Yoga Nidra Meditation / Rest Time / Free time / Refreshing time

15:00 – 16:00 — Workshop / Study Time / Guest Lecturers

16:00 – 18:00 — Asana Practice / Art of Adjustment / Body Alignment

18:30 – 19:30 — Dinner Time

19:30 – 20:30 — Rest Time / Free Time / Study Time

20:30 – 21:30 — Silence / Meditation

21:30 – 06:00 — Sleep
